FAST CRUISING SLOOP |
The present
boat is already in an advanced stage at Aries yard. Here the client desires a modern boat for long distance cruising and to be capable of easy double handed sailing. All control lines are driven to the cockpit that is protected with a dodger and bimini. The rig is a swept back spreader layout with jibs of 110% overlap and no runners. Construction is 100% carbon with epoxy given and extraordinary strength and a light displacement. So we expect a good performance and a good ballast displacement ratio. The keel is composed of an iron strut with integrated lead bulb, a very cost effective combination, and good for stability. The interior shows owner's cabin forward and a centered saloon connected with the galley and the aft guest cabins. |
