Like
in the Sinergia 40 The demand for this motorboat was clear: fast with
optimum seakindness attitude. Modern technologies are applied in the construction
of this motorboat, vinylester resin with vacuum consolidated balsa core
using biaxial and unidirectional fibers. Also there is a layer of Kevlar
cloth in the impact zone. Bulkheads are PVC combined with E-glass biaxial
fabrics with unidirectional fibers in the cappings and local reinforcements.
A very light and strong boat will be obtained with the obvious benefits
in propulsion. The interior layout shows an optimum use of space and a
comfortable arrangement. The twin engines have 800 HP each one, giving
37 knots of maximum speed. The hull shows flared topsides, deep V, with
almost no raise in the aft buttocks. The hull has slight reminiscences
of an inverted bell shape for a smooth performance in waves, but still
keeping features for attaining very high speed. It has a rounded pad at
centreline in the aft portion of the hull bottom, slight convex shape
with high deadrise section and a flat chine of moderate width.
This Open 55' is under construction at Sinergia composites (Spain).
